When its cold out ,,,and you first fire the truck up and put it in Drive the RPM's drop way off and the truck almost dies
Some say its because of the extreme pressures created from a built Valve body
Other say its from the timing advacement on the comp clashing with the timing being advanced from the ecm while below engine operating tempature
some say its the VP44 goodbuy speach
Some say its a Weak LP in stock location but the pushers making your FP reading look good ???
I had this problem then fixed it when I put the Vulcan kit on ,,,, then when i upgraded my injectors it came back ,,,,then it was fixed by running with the comp off ,,,,,,then that didnt work anymore ,,,
I cannot pin point whats going on with this and there are about 500 threads here on TDR with people complaing about the same stuff
One common fix givin was the cold weather reflash ,,,, to my under standing if you do this your idle is increased big time and even in the summer its idleing real high,,, IMO a high idle is not a fix for whats hapopening its just making it bareable
Anyone have a clue on this ?
If I have to go broke and get the AIR DOG to fix this then thats what i will do I hate this about my truck !
