I have read plenty about how to upgrade to the 3rd Gen brakes, but has anyone checked to see if the 4th gen brakes can be installed on the 2nd gen?

2nd Gen front rotors = 12.5" dia x 1.5"
3rd Gen front rotors = 13.89" dia ×1.39"
4th Gen front rotors = 14.17" dia x 1.54"

Would like to do it once and do the best upgrade.

I know the 03-08 (3rd gen) brakes fit, so I went ahead and ordered all those. No one seems to have tried the 4th gen brakes on a 2nd gen yet.

yes sir, got the complete package sorted out and ready to offer. ABS, lockout hubs, big brakes, and extreme axles. 2000-02 dana 60 frt. Dana 70/80 rears disc direct bolt on, drum retrofit axle mounting brackets.

Hello everyone,
Curious if there is any interest in {MONSTER 14" Front and Rear brake upgrade Front locking hub COMBO.} using HD floating axle "NON Unitized" rebuild able ABS compatible front manual lockout hubs. May offer " Full package (kits) for 2000-2002 Rams." These fit
SRW 2500/3500 (2000-2002) Dana 60 front axle (with removable caliper brackets required,) Rear Axle Dana 70/80 rear axle (must specify) retrofit for drum axles or direct fit for 2001/02 disc brake axles hubs. Several variations are available depending on "Rear Width" desired. Set up requires 17" or 18" factory wheels to clear brakes and stock lower control arms on front axle. Can put together complete kits. 4 wheel ABS Brakes are retained and functional. Would include sealed/shielded front hub mounted ABS sensor reluctor rings and factory style sensors (plug and play) STD- HD 35 spline front stub axles with mile marker lock out hubs and Monster oversize Truck Calipers used. No "retrofit caddy car junk".

If there is interest these will become available. I will monitor response's to see if enough interest is out there to bring these to market. I am doing this for several reasons... My original 01- 2nd gen brakes suck, changing unit bearings suck, full time locked axle hubs suck, and most aftermarket kits to do any part of this are too expensive for the average guy to obtain. I can also hook you up with the strongest CV joint offroad/racing aftermarket axles made from "RCV performance products(tm)". Please let me know your thoughts! I am going to make a decision on whether to finish final development of kit (s) for others to purchase or just supply locals here that I know. Best part I believe will be the price point. so much for so little money, Axles and brakes built the way they should have been right from the factory...perfect solution for the SNOW Plow operators, OFFROAD enthusiasts, or the heavy haulers that need better brakes... you are all covered. In my case, I am all three... Thanks, ultimateamc

I cannot imagine you would get a huge response when complete. I know I'd be interested if it is what you say.
