2007 Ram 3500. My Problem: I have to make a 120 mi R/T in a few hours. Now this issue started a few days ago and I couldn't get to it to replace the Heater Motor resistor. The blower works but on High only. Any guesses on how long this will work on High speed only? Will using this have any effect on the blower as in shorting it out or cause any other issues. I do have a 2003 Durango that I had the same issue on but after 2 new resistors I replaced the blower & it has been fine since then. I could take the Durango but it is not a 4X4 like the Ram i& we have had a lot of snow and the side roads are the worst, Freeway DOT cameras show Interstate 5 & I 405 looking pretty good. It is still pretty cold and I don't want to get stuck with no heat in the cab. Since this has a 120V outlet could you plug a small 750Watt Heater into the outlet to get heat while down the freeway if the truck heater should quit, just a thought.
