I've only got 134,120 miles as of today, original VP and third lift pump although I'd bet my 2nd would still work fine, I changed it because I was right there and had a spare and it had 85,000 on it. Had a Comp box with the wire pierced since 50k and just recently put in injectors and upgraded the box to a drag.

160,305 miles now. I had a scare the other day though, I put the Comp on to scare a co-worker by smoking him out and then I turned it off and noticed a check engine light, when I went to get on the highway the truck was a dog, I managed to turn the comp box back on a race a 6. 0 who decided to smoke the Dodge passing him on the right..... ooopppppsss that was a mistake, he got beat and got a smoking. Got to checking the code and it was a map sensor voltage code. It's been fine since, I was fearing that it was the dreaded 0216 code because I was talking to another member that has had great luck also with his VP, and to top it off he has a 53 block also.

One lift pump

One Crank pos sensor

Amsoiled with 64 thousand on oil.

100hp Edge injectors and EZ, waiting for time to do the 1. 6's.

127 thousand on the truck.

170k I have only put about 10k on truck, I have replaced/repaired : 1 APPS, 1 rear pinion seal, Fixed fithgear nut NV 4500 (tag on transmission from shop in Canada, original owner had transmission replaced/rebuilt at some point. ) most seals are starting to seep oil a little.

2002 4wd 5spd Reg cab

Installed by original owner:

Banks Stinger sys, Banks brake

Bob"s 2000

Changed fuel filter, filled housing with fuel, would only run a few seconds until filter housing was depleted. Lift pump was running but not able to suck from tank. Replaced lift pump, all is well. 134500 miles. It sure was hell replacing. I need to relocate near tank.

130,000 and going strong

My 99 Ram 2500 has been great! I cannot believe there are that many people that have been experiencing all these problems with these trucks. My dad has a 99 as well with 275,000, his auto transmission went out at around 200,000 and a fuel and lift pump and 250,000, but it is a massively abused work truck. On my truck, I changed my shocks, rebuilt my 47re, and I am currently changing my transfer pump and adding a fuel pressure gauge so I don't burn up my injection pump. I am 22 years old and plan to keep this truck until I am 40!

1999 Ram 2500, beefed up 47re, 4" straight piped, Ranchos, Superchips, AEM intake, three Stewart Warner gauges on A-pillar; boost, egt, trans. , Mickey Thompson Classic II's on 285/75's, billet grille, clearance lights

I finally had to replace my lift pump about 3 weeks ago,who knows how long it's been dead. I am just glad to have caught it before the injector pump decided too go. Replced the pump with a new one and added the vulcan relocation kit at the same time at about 81,000 or so miles. Boy,now I feel safe running my edge box wide open Oo. .

One lift pump at 71k miles... to late... VP-44 at 74K miles. Truck has been flawless after fuel delivery modifications. Original transmission and brakes as of this day 127,000 miles and all is well.

I had a couple lift pump issues around 100K and went fass. Havent looked back. 178,000 original VP... . got a 53 block too. I do my share of cross country hauling in at about 24,000 lbs.

59k and am on my third LP. The only other things that has been replaced are the serpentine belt (Goodyear Gatorback) and one new set of tires. Still running the original batteries and brakes. Most of the miles is towing the TT.

Will need new tires by next fall. The Nitto's only have about 22k on them now and I will be changing to Toyo MT's and going from 295 to 285 on original rims (if they don't crack). I know, I know I am living on borrowed time with the original batteries which are now 72 months old. But, it has now become one of those things that I just want to see how long they will hang in there. I always carry jumper cables and the generator has 12v output.

I am going to shove every lift pump I can down DC's throat until 100k and them change to a real LP system. I have a FP gauge switched pre and post filter and mind it carefully.

Overall, I am pretty satisfied with it

53K on mine. New "53"@17,500 so motor has 35,500 K on it! Santa's bringing me an '07 soon. Mine's going up for sale in January. It's as close to new as you'll find+quality mods. Signature is just the tip of the iceberg.

108xxx on my '02, though might be closer to 115xxx. Never got my odometer/speedo corrected after lift and bigger tires... . one lift pump and injector pump... . didn't get my fuel gauge on intime:( A few other fixes, but thats the only engine stuff.
