Mitchell's street clutch has a cast flywheel-the comp version uses steel and has for some time.
That may be the price difference right there.
From what I saw this year, the trucks right behind Kent are mostly Mitchell trucks. Perhaps "toughest trucks use Hasilys" is a bit vague?
I haven't seen any of the top 10-20 trucks have clutch issues though.
I know of about 6 trucks that THOUGHT they were going to be in the top 20, and elected NOT to use a Mitchell or Haisly clutch... ... ... Not sure if they ever made 300 feet all year?
