I need a source for dually rims & tires...

Hey all- Well, I've made the swap on my 2500. I traded axles with smokejunkie, putting a 3500 dually axle on my 2500. Now I need rims and tires. What are your inputs for my options. I know 22. 5's are out of my range. 19. 5's may be also. What I am really interested in is "black" wheels, probably 17". Any suggestions for an inexpensive source for black steel wheels? What comes stock on the 3rd gen duallys? Your help will be appreciated. Thanks, Trey

Stockers on my '03 are black, when cleaned up don't look half bad actually. Lost the 2 rear caps when they came off on thier own, retainer was still there, just the chrome cap came off, along with one deep insert. Up front, the stock POS inserts ,all the clips broke off and all that held them in place were the center caps, which are still there. Got tired of the noise so I took the inserts off and pitched them. Don't know if i'm going to go with some Eagle alloys or if someone can point out the new 17" wheels Rickson "supposedly" now carrys.

You didn't say where your at... I'm in the process of changing to black steel wheels on 3 of my trucks... . I will have available a set of 6 19. 5" steel wheels that are new and 6. 75" wide, (225/70 - 245/70 R19. 5")and 2 sets of 6 17" wheels from 04, 04. 5, and 05 dually's... I'm in Spokane Wa and we have trucks that cover WA, OR, CA, ID, NV, AZ, UT, MT, BC, & Alberta. I've got new 19. 5" Briggstones on order now so in 10 days we will start the change over... .

The take off's are from 15% to 45% rubber on the tires... . PM if you have an interest.....

jelag: I'm not sure how to PM on here yet. I do have an interest, depending on the prices. Your 19. 5" set is "black?" steel, I'd be interested in how much those would be.
