My job ended back the end of June. My wife also lost her job three weeks later. Well, I had to have a job. I tried getting one as a barber in the maternity ward at one of the local hospitals, but those jobs were already taken. I also wanted to get a job as a piano player in a ***** house, but that didn't work out since I can't play the piano. So as a last resort so I start Wednesday morning with the local Ford dealer selling those things.



I've never done anything like this before but like I said, I need a job. At least I still get to drive my Ram to work. Oo. Oo. Oo.

Seriously, do you get the feeling no one wants you because of your age and past earnings? My high tech job went to China so I fell back on something I did 25 years ago, trucking. I suppose I should be grateful since I am home every day and make okay bucks but the same things that drove me to go to tech school and change still exist. I suppose I should just hang in and do this until I can get SS else I might become too synical. You know where I am coming from by now I imagine.



Anyway, you should have learned enough from these forums to "lay it on pretty thick" and push those PSD. Good luck with the new gig.

Selling Fords shouldn't be too hard. Just tell all your customers that Ford owns Cummins.

Just go to the parts department, get some Ford emblems, rebadge your truck and park it out front. Tell the folks its the prototype 2006 F250 Cummins and only a limited number will be available. However, a cash down payment must be made now to secure one for receipt in late 2005. Delivery and nuisance details like that will be worked out later... Your sales will soar.
