Comcast DVR???????

Make sure you replace the TP...

Hey guys, long time since I posted here. Just traded in Baby Huey for a 06 2500 4X4 SB auto. Very happy with the new ride. Man that new Cummins is quite !

Just really wanted to say hey. Hope all is well with my longtime friends in the site

Maybe someone can catch me up to speed regarding the current TDR ;)

Hi Scott, good to hear from you again. How many miles did you have on your old truck when you traded it in?

did you debomb it?

Hope all is well :)

Hey Bigsaint, good to see a post from you. The 3rd gens are nice. I think the '06's have finished the 3rd gen teething , but if not, there are door weatherstrip issues, leaky high pressure fuel pumps, and maybe 1 or 2 other '06 things. Long may she run!

Thanks guys, good to be back. Bob, I only had 45,000 miles, lol. That's one of the reasons she went. The wife didn't like to ride in it so we never used it for family outtings. Basically to and from work and some hauling, MX track days, etc.

I left it bombed. Someones gonna get a fast truck !

Thanks Wayne, I'll do some searches on the boards to see whats up with those items you listed.

Have to bring the truck back in this week ( they left the block heater cord off, apparently that's an option) and I want the controllable idle flash to use with the cruise control. Just picked her up this afternoon, haven't even had the chance to set the clock yet :D

Other than that all is well here. This one should see some serious mileage. It's going on it's first family outing for about a 200 mile ride this Tuesday.

I can tell ya one thing, my warranty will stay as is this time around ! Not that I had any issues with the last truck, just for piece of mind.

Forgot to mention... my last truck made it over 3 years with the second PE pump, still going strong when I parked her for the last time. Sure hope I have to deal with those issues again. Never felt 100% confident on the longer rides.

Bigsaint -

Good to hear from you again. What is the garbage about "stock" and "staying that way"?? Like someone from AA bellying back up to the bar man!

take it easy,

hi, my name is (insert name here) and I'm a bombaholic...

Hey Scott just to let you know I started with a simple setup like yours on my 1st CTD. 24" Grover tucked under the hood & a 7 gal. air tank in the toolbox. That quickly got old b/c it took up half my toolbox. So I got a 12V compressor and a 1/2 gal tank. Well that 1/2 gal empties REALLY quick so I eventually bought a 2 gal. tank on EBay for $10. Never got it installed to date yet though... ... . but now I have a 34" & a 30" PAIR of Grovers waiting to replace my measly little 24". :-laf Buddy of mine wanted my 24, traded me the 2 30"+ ers straight up. I just haven't got the tank and horns on yet. :-laf

OMG Mark, what have I done ?!?!!!! You have turned into a airhornaholic :D

J/K buddy, sounds like a sweet setup for sure. I miss mine already.

Ahh the 24" single did fine for years... . but hey why say no to a completely FREE upgrade to two 30+ incher's! Oo. :-laf

Thanks Steve and Eric  . I'm bringing the truck in for the high idle relfash and a Block heater cord this Friday, wish me luck  . I still cannot believe that anyone would want a diesel without a functional block heater in a Northern climate. Simply amazing. I miss my DDressler LED grid heater lights I must say. Other than that no complaints. Just finished affixing my wheel chocks to a piece of plywood for the soon to come MX track days. Can't wait for a good long ride.
