How do you keep a banana fresh?After you peal them is it ok to eat them if there are black spots on them. Or should you cut the spots off. I just pealed my nana(which made me think of this) and there were a few black spots on it but I eat it anyway. It tastes the same to me. Can you put the bananas in the icebox to keep them fresh?My wife said that would make them turn black. She caught me when I was going to put them in there and informed me of this. So I did not. But I noticed when I got home from work yesterday she had put them in the icebox. Do you think she is trying to make me sick or All I want to know is how to keep them nanas from getting black spots on em. Or do I have to buy a better grade$$ of banana?I thank yall for your time and considerations in answering this question. Cause now I am

Try a little squirt of lemon juice on 'em. Also works on peeled apples.

OH NO Schultz... ... . dont tell me you ate that banana with black dots on it, apparntly you havent heard that they will cause you to lose your memory soon you wont be able to remember a thing like your name or where you work, phone numbers, names of your children, which truck is yours... ... ... ... they call this CRS diesease.



If you want to counter the reaction than you must drink 5 gallons of homiginized milk for every banana you ate or the CRS will kick in within 24 hours

Mr. Whitmore(uh I may call you Mr. )I had enough drinking for a while. 25th of Sept. them but doctors conducted an experiment on my backside when they run that scope of there to see what lurks in there. I forget what it was but I had to drank a gallon of this stuff every 10 minutes about 8 oz glass to clean my insides out so they could have a good visual look at that huge intestine(dr said it). Said he did not have any trouble maneuvering around in there. I did not find drinking that exliar fun. Took about 1. 5 hrs for it to start working and then Took me from 6 to 9:30 to finish it off. It started off tasting pretty good but after a few it was getting old. At one point I had to go wife was in one bathroom,daughter was in the other one then I remember we had a poop pot in the utility room so I commenced doing my thing in there. Wife took a little longer than she normal for her shower. When she comes out I ask her what she had been doing she said she was cleaning the commode. I guess I was doing a little splattering in there. I told her I was not through I would be doing some more and she got to :-{} :{

:-laf :-laf :-laf Oh the old banana in the tailpipe trick eh. There ya go Larry it is proven that bananas cause large volumns of intestional gas!!!



Actually when a piece of fruit is ripening it gives off ethane gas and if you put this fruit by some green fruit it will ripen it quicker.



Ethane is used in large quantities for tomatoes, they pick them green while hard so they dont bruise and put them on shelving in a large room and release ethane gas in there so they will be ready for market at their demand.

You can mix yogurt with pealed bananas or apples and they will stay pretty fresh for a while, like for your lunch at work or something.
