All,
I have had enough interest that I have priced the pasts and as I thought I will be able to offer the tester in the $150-$160 price range.
Battery operated, with a DC power option.
Require NO connection to any part of the vehicle.
Measure HP and Torque at all RPMs.
Provide peak HP and Torque readings at the rpm they occure.
Provide HP and Torque in 10 rpm increments.
Store up to 20 tests.
Store vehicle parameters without having to re-set each time the unit is powered on.
Up load data to a P/C so graphs can be printed.
I will be looking for a few sucke... , er volunteers to test the unit. They will receive the tester at 1/2 price. And will be able to exchange the test units for a production unit at no charge.
I plan to offer the tester to TDR members at 1/3 off for a limited time when the unit is ready.
I also plan to have a web site where user reading are store in an online database so new users can compare their readings with others and see what changes to the truck produce what results. The site will be
http://www.ThisOFFICE.com/pdyno. The site is up now.
If you have an idea for a feature not listed on the web site, email me and I'll add them if possible.
Thanks for all the email and interest.
More later.
Ben
