installed EZ

I installed an EZ on my 01 last week, and I swear my console computer is saying I gained over 3 mpg. Besides loving the added power , is this what you guys are getting with yours??Also, it seems that the EZ plugs into the ecm, with the 3 prong plug by the fuel filter. Do any of you know if this affects anything scary, seeing that just had a dust cover in it?? Tanga you, for input.

EZ=good

I have had the EZ on my 2001 for about 4,000 miles all of them towing about 18,000#plus. Observations are, Fuel= mpg up between 1 and 1 1/2 (not mesured by truck computer) . EGTs= down between 100 and 150 degrees.

Towing power= MUCH BETTER! Other observations. The torque is much higher between 1500 and 2200 rpm, above 2200 it drops quickly. I would think that the 3. 54 diff would be an advantage with the EZ and probably other boxes as well.

I think the EZ will make an even worse liar out of the computer. The EZ is changing the paramaters that the computer is reading. I just installed my EZ and love the power. I have noticed that it takes twice as long to cool down to 300 degrees post turbo than it did. I don't know if this is a function of more fuel or the change in timing.
