Hey guys, I'm in the middle of a boost and pyro gauge install, and was wondering what the best/easiest way thru the firewall is. My 91 has alot less holes in it than my older Ramcharger does. I know the correct way would be to drill it and use a grommet, but with my Ramcharger i used grommets that already existed. Any suggestions? TIA... ?

Not wanting to drill and use grommets because I was too lazy to drive to the parts store to pick them up, I went through the large grommet that exists between the master cylinder and the left fender. There is plenty of room for several wires around the edges of this large grommet.

With a drill. :-laf

sorry, couldn't help myself there... .

On my auto truck, I used the large grommet between the master cylinder and the left fender. When I got the 5 speed I then understood what that grommet was for. That was the location of the clutch master cylinder. I had to find a new place for my wires.....

PO had drilled and siliconed the wires in one spot.

I drilled half inch holes and stole some half inch body plugs from the interior of the old cab to use as grommets.

My truck is a stick, so my grommet between the master cyl. and the fender was occupied. I was digging around and remembered the PO installed aftermarket criuse when he swapped to a tilt column, and stuck the wires through the big grommet on the pass. side of the master cyl. Made the hole a bit bigger and shoved the new stuff through.
