After the saga of the KDP, which put the truck in the shop for a month, after the issue of the broken push rod, and after the big fuel and oil leaks (I didn't tell you about those?), the truck runs great! Before the breakdowns, I had replaced the exhaust with a straight-through muffler, and the cat "was cleaned out". (Get it?) Two years before, my bro, who's in the small truck business, installed an after-market "cam" in the pump, which removed the flat spots in acceleration. But yesterday, on my way to the fishing hole, I passed an eighteen wheeler totally in fifth gear. That's new for me. When I looked down at the speedo, I'm to ninety. Wow! I'm probably easy to please. But they did adjust the timing and the valves while the truck was at the shop. I'm the most pleased with this truck than I've ever been. It's stock in appearance. We've got cops checking. Jim Oo.
