looked into my front passenger side fender well as I was walking by my truck yesterday, my bottom turbo is visible, and I noticed some oil residue on the compressor housing leaking from the boost tube that feeds the secondary turbo. It was a small amount, I wiped it clean and went for a ride (couple hours around town), this morning more oil, less than a quarter teaspoon but being saturated with soot it looks worse.
The boost clamp is tight however that's not really the issue... now I will make sure both turbo drain tubes are unrestricted... crap! Going to have to pull all the piping to determine which turbo is burping oil, I believe the large primary but who knows. I probably have about 15k miles on this compound setup(R700's), trucks sits alot, but I do not believe things stop leaking once they start #@$%!#@$%!#@$%!#@$%!
Raining outside today, so will have to wait for better weather. Can't believe this, had a SPS62 bite the dust within 2k miles, now maybe this S400 BW(or super b), I always let the egt's cool down before shutting off the motor, so it's not neglect. Hopefully my entire intake is not already contaminated, that was a tough clean up last time.
