Any time that I've put in an LED bulb, I've taken the time to put tape on a wall prior to the change. That way I know the pattern and beam lines up as close to halogen bulbs that were replaced. I would think you would look before you leap! Many the bright lights are HID setups are the factory dimmer setup that hasn't been setup properly. A simple tire pressure difference in the rear tires can put that light right in your eyes! I know that even in my truck, I've been blinded by this issue.
