SERIOUSLY!< lets talk about weight

stuck story

I have a load of scrap metal in three drums in the bed going to LaTrobe, PA. I will be coming thru Columbus, OH. Anyone have suggestions of things to avoid on my trip? I weighed the truck last night after loading, 8560# with me and my brother-in-law and before fuel. I will be around 87-8800 when I leave Sunday. My truck does not look commercial. I expect to pass any and all scales on the road. Is there any construction on this route. Anything to avoid or be aware of? Thanks to everyone.

I AGREE. My father owns the scrap and has made me one-third owner. That makes the trip and labor to load well worth the trouble! I will leave Sunday morning and arrive there that night. My brother-in-law and I will deliver Monday morning and take two days to come back home. The trip looks like 800 miles one way.

Carbide from machine shops.

I am having trouble getting directions off the 'net. I have an address provided by Kennametal as "4500 South Ligonier Street Extension". However, running the phone number backwards gives me "1600 Technology Way". This is supposed to be a warehouse location. Can anyone familiar with the area help out?

Is this place North or South of the U. S. 30 bypass? If it's South, is it right below the airport? Any help is appreciated.

I have three drums that weigh 2260 lbs. total. The truck, me and brother-in-law, fuel and carbide will run 87-8800 lbs.

Have a good evening.

You probably already left, but if your truck has the 8800 option, and your taged for that weight, should be no problem.

I'm sure you have left already, but to answer your question it is south of rt. 30. Actually when you turn off of 30, it should be your second left. You can't miss the building, it's a large block and glass complex on the left directly across from the airport. I'm not posative where the building is that you need, but it should be in that complex somewhere. By the way, before you go back home continue east on Rt. 30 about 1 mile and stop at Dino's for lunch... ... Best wings in PA!!!!!!

Guys, just rolled in from the road. The place I was looking for turned out to be on Hiway 30 in the Ligionier community down near the gorge. The truck did fine as well made 1560 miles since Sunday.
