Well I put in new overflow valve, better pressure at idle, on the road, zero pressure. Thinking new lift pump now. Have a hard time spending the money for Fass or other electric brand. What is the opinion on here. Stock power is good enough for me. I would think the mechanical should work. TIA jps
Checking vacuum on the fuel line would be the way to test for restriction in the tank. "t" in a vacuum gauge into the fuel supply line between the fuel pick-up and the lift pump you should see less than 6" of vacuumMLee, pressure at about 15# AT IDLE. Going down the road it drops to 0. Rev up to 2500-3000 15# to 0. When we first start truck, pressure jumps to 25, then backs off quickly. Any ideas as to what may be going on?? jps

I have a special tool that will t in at the quick disconnect. you could pick up an inline pressure fitting from genos then find the appropriate plumbing to tie in your vaccum gauge. Not quite as clean but to work on one truck it will functionBob, Any suggestion as to where to tap in the line for vacuum check??? jps
SSage, really can say about the hose. Guess all I can say is I had better check it out. If I remember correctly, that is a spendy little sucker. Unless some one has a cheaper source??? Does $ 28 ring a bell with anyone??? jps
