So this weekend, I installed a set of DDP Stage 2's, 3k GSK, ATS Arc-Flow intake manifold, and 3 piece pulse flow exhaust manifold. I also moved my plate full forward. When I took it for a test drive, it seemed like it has less power than when I started. It kinda also felt like the accelerator was a lot stiffer. It idles fine, but when I get on it, it gets really sluggish. I've been able to pull to 3000, but EGT's got up to about 1100 pretty quick. Also, when I stopped, I opened the hood and there was some smoke. I'm assuming that it was whatever was on the exhaust manifold burning off. I also removed my silencing ring, although I doubt that has anything to do with the problem. Could a bad overflow valve cause the problem? What else could it be? Sorry for the long post, just trying to give as much info as possible.

Yes a bad over-flow valve could cause low power and so could a weak lift pump.

I would also research the 4 plate to see where the fuel comes in strong. It mite not be at low rpm.

Also, move your fuel plate back about 1/16th of an inch. It will fuel harder. kinda weird how it works but it does make a difference

Sounds good. I'm stuck at work all day today, so I'll have to check it out tommorrow. Also, on my way to work this morning, my EGTs got up to 1200 going 35 up an overpass. Could a lack of fuel cause temps to get up this high? Also, where's a good place to research plates?

Might turn one more turn in on your govenor springs and move plate 1/16 to 1/8" back. With the 3gsk's you should be able to just get to 3600 rpm when adjusted properly. If you get the govenor springs to tight your will have a bounce at or near idle and rpm's will be slow to drop back to idle.

Is that 3600 RPM in Park/neutral?

Well upon doing some research, I have good news. I'm an idiot. :{ I forgot all about my valet switch. Apparently it got bumped into the wrong position. Whoops. I'll still move my plate back a little bit. Anyway, thanks for all your help, and man am I ****** at myself for something so stupid. #@$%! Well, you live and learn.
