Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) machanic needed

need recomended machanic to install tst power upgrade and fix dowel pin in 97 4X4 5speed. it would make it handy if they were in oregon or washington.

I live in portland and there are a couple good diesel techs here I can email you some of there info.

Are you mechanicaly inclined?

If so what you are talking about you can do yourself.

The kdp is an easy fix, just takes time and a crank seal and front timing cover gasket. Maybe a puller you can rent for the vibration dampner but mine came right off without a puller.

The tst kit is probably the cam plate, which with a few of the right tools you can easily do yourself. I have the video too.

I can help you if you like, I can at least get you a materials and tools list.

not machanicaly inclined thanks for the offer though. I would like to get the info on your diesel techs though or a good garage. I dont have a problem driving to get good quilty service.
