Ordered MBRP 4" alluminized exhaust from City Muffler Performance out of Oklahoma. Started to install it on Sunday and soon realized that my tailpipe would not connect to muffler because the muffler was not expanded so that the tail pipe would not fit into it. I was pretty mad because I just cut off my stock exhaust and had to take this new MBRP off. But I didn't sweat it because I knew that a big company like MBRP would take care of me. Boy was I wrong! I called them on Monday and spoke to Mark Cloutier, the manager with MBRP in Canada. He told me that I would have to deal with City Muffler. So I called City Muffler. They had a stainless steel muffler and said they would overnight it to me, but I did not want to mix up the kit. So I called Mark back. He said he would send me an alluminized muffler, ground shipping only, which would take five or more days to reach me in South Texas and I explained to him that this was my only mode of transportation and asked him if he could send me the muffler two day air considering this was a pretty big mess up on their part. He flat out refused to deal with me on this and said five day ground only. This ****** me off so I called City Muffler again and spoke to the owner John Sr. I told John that I wanted nothing to do with this MBPR anymore and he bent over backwards to offer me a stainless kit with no extra charge and he would pay for shipping on the return of my MBRP. Talk about customer service. I was shocked. Maybe MBRP should take lessons from their retailers like City Muffler. Don't get me wrong, I owned an MBRP system before and I loved it but did not have to deal with customer service. Hopefully you guys don't have the same experience that I did. Andy

Where in South Texas are you?

Sorry about the kit... I've installed many MBRP kits, and they all fit perfect. Flo Pro is the only kit I outright refuse to install on any truck, and Silverline just gets a higher labour $ for install because it's a PITA.

hate to say it, but haven't you ever dealt with distributors before? it was City Muffler's responsibility to take care of you, and they went above and beyond in my opinion...

I've delt with John also buying only a Muffler and Air Filter for my truck and he treated me better than I could expect... ... . good people he is.
