I've listened to "Hag" for years. An interesting note, I was on a tour bus in England in the mid-80s during a business trip. The bus driver was playing Hag's songs on the bus PA system. I couldn't believe what I was hearing.
I love the old country music also. I alternate between classic country and '50s rock and roll music on sirius or xm whenever I'm in a vehicle. Sadly, the old country singers I've listened to since I was a boy are rapidly dying off now. They left a legacy that will live on long after they're gone.
I grew up listinging to my dad play Merle, The Highwaymen, and the likes on 8-track. I still listen to them now, but most of the people my age have no idea who they are.
