What's it worth???

Cut Tire

This truck is a 1995. I believe Ford started selling the Powerstroke in 1995 as a 1996 model. This means that there should be some Powerstrokes out there with close to a million miles on the original engine…. right, well there could be, maybe…. well anything is possible. Jeff

:D :D :D :D

My girlfriends dad has a 01 with 150,000. No problems, then again maybe his stack helped. Seriously though he has pushed this truck HARD, and it still runs great.

There is 1 million mile psd. It has never been removed from the engine bay for repairs. Leaves alot of room for failures. But it is possible. The T444e has very similar ratings to the cummins for longevity. So the question is, How similar to the T444e Is the PSD? Revs higher. Are the internals identical? Id ask the folks on the ford site but straight answers are hard to come by. The duramax doesnt seem to post numbers cause its a light duty and is not neccesary. The medium duty numbers for the T444e are easy to come by. Am I to assume the PSDs numbers are identical? Logic says no. More cycles= shorter life. Look at what theyve done to the blessed cummins. They have increased her powerband by 500 rpm. Are they trying to make a ford? Low rpms do have there benifits.

I just turned over 10,000 on my '03 and no injection pump troubles yet!:p If the lift pump poops out, I'll find out when I change the filter. Not even necessary on the ISBe. :D

My Ford loyal buddy had 240,000~ on his big ol square gawdy looking F-350. The basic engine was ok but everything on it was worn out and the truck was literally falling apart. He's the happy owner of a new '03 Dodge HEMI. Not a Cummns but at least he's out of the Fraud. The HEMI is a good looking engine and it's a screamer!

I will add mine to the competition.

My '99 has 141,000+ as of this morning. Only problems so far, one VP44 and one lift pump. Getting ready to install second lift pump. :(
