mopar flares

Hi All:

I am considering mopar flares for my 06, but have not seen any and the dealer has to order them. Before I spring, I have two questions for those that may have purchased them. (1) Do they interfere with the Cummins emblem on the front quarter panel, i. e. will it have to be relocated? (2) I prefer to leave them black. Subjective question, but will they be ugly if installed right out of the box, or will they need to be painted? Thanks for any help.

They don't interfere with the Cummins logo at all. They look fine without paint. They have the texture of the door handles. Install is easy. They only concern I've have it that I've read here some (in the snow belt) have had corrosion issue behind them. Mine have been on for a few years and there is no corrosion currently. Honestly, I wish I'd just line-x'd the fender like I did the rockers.

I totally agree with above. Mine have been on about 3 years; very high quality, went on easy, look great, perfect coverage for my 285s. Money well spent. Check out my photo gallery.
