BBD, it sucked to watch your truck shut down on the track. I know one of our customers trucks would shut down going down the road and it ended up being a bad ground . The bad ground I found was in front of the intake manifold next to the #1 valve cover.

I use a PTO cable to shut down the P-7100 pump, no electrics involved, pull the cable to shut down, push it back in to start/run. It works every time, there was a write up in TDR on the cable a couple of issues back. The PTO cable is much heavier than the choke cable. The new cable is way too long, cut it down with a high speed grinder after you measure 2 or 3 times.
 
I have had the same problem but my problem ended up just being bad fuel and i just ended up running it out and now everything is fine
