Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) need a block

my friend has a 97 2500 12v that he just found out he has a crack in his block was just posting to see if any one had a block or new of one thanks

i saw a cummins 12 valve engine block on ebay the other day. i saw a couple of 12 and 24 valve engines fully assembled also. check out ebay.

I have a couple of used blocks (short blocks) but haven't removed the cranks and pistons to send it out for magnafluxing to assure no cracks in the cylinders.



I also have a short block built up, but it may be sold.



Sometimes you can get a tired running engine from a boneyard for about 1000-1200.

Block

I have a used 24 valve block, but it is a 53, there is nothing wrong with it, I just had it replaced for the peace of mind when I had to have the engine rebuilt, I've had it in the classifieds trying to sell it, because I hate to just scrap it even if it is a 53.
