Cost for Allison swap?

My 98.5 transmission has seen it's last days. Have a standard trans with BD valve body and tork converter + pressure lock. I've pretty much decided on my new transmission but, I need a reliable shop in the Carson City or Reno Nevada area. Can any one help?

just don't make it a Purple pile of JUNK you might as well throw the Money into the trash then to buy 1 of there transmission's

Drive it down to orange county , Inglewood transmission can rebuild same day he uses all goerend parts. Go to Disneyland for the day.

After a severe bout with Gout and a bum knee, I decided to have my beloved NV5600 transmission in my 05 3500 SRW RAM removed and replaced with a six speed Allison automatic from CA Conversions in Gulf Breeze, FL. I drove the truck down to FL and within 4 days, I was back home in Colorado. Made a world of difference, especially at highway speeds. Not cheap but a lot less expensive than a new truck. With a column mounted "click shifter" I have the best of both worlds.

That's a good combo. Regarding the Allison,I drove a Hino with one for 240K. Zero issues and I drove it hard. My friend maintains a fleet of stock power Duramax's and has never seen one go down. Stock power but young employees who floor it a block from the yard.

May I ask you how much this entire transplant was?
transmission, Install, Programming?
Did you get a discount for the take off parts?

I checked their homepage, and from what i read they know the business.

I consider doing that to my truck if it is reasonably priced that i can sell the benefits of it to my darling.

I just asked for "gee whiz" value - (gee whiz is over!)

Suggest anyone who is *serious* - and really wants to know - call 'em !!

Appears -VERY- deep pockets required.
