Yes, the Parker 425 was Friday and Saturday, with the award today, I think. Watching the trophy trucks run WFO through the desert is quite a sight.

I LOVE the parker/parker strip area! We've had quite a few family outings there. Always a good time. I'm usually boating/fishing with the kiddos. Always wanted to take my Jeep out there and mess around.

Seen the race before while on the river, neat vantage point. Enjoy your time up there!

I've been going to Parker for over 50 years, my parents bought into Big River, when Big River was paying for the whole trip, just to get you out there. It sure hasn't changed much!!!

Do you fellows know if Manny Esquerra's(King of the Desert)family still have a Mexican restaurant in Parker?

The Mexican restaurants have changed over the years, but the only one we go to lately, is the "Sarape". We don't know who owns it though. However it has burn't down several times over the years, relocating everytime it has rebuilt, now its on the main strip.

The only Mexican joint I've been to up there is Mi Terra...good fajitas IIRC. Actually I think all the food was mostly good.
