Hello
My 13 Ram 3500 CCSB Batteries lasted 6 years replaced them in Mar of 2019. the old ones were stock Chrysler/ram that came with the truck. I brought and replaced them with the Napa recommended replacement batteries, The truck lives and is used in Alaska

One of my Sears Diehard AGM's died so I replaced them with O'Reilly lead acid batteries.
They work fine. I've never gotten corrosion on my 98.5 or my 2007 regardless of battery construction.

RE post #9, my plats have made it through the hot summer and I’ve decided to run em out to a fault.
Too much other maintenance going on sucking up the funds.

I have Odyssey 2150 amp , installed in 2002 and still up and running , getting a lil weak these days as I only ran the truck when towing my trailer , but with a trickle charger it does just fine. Truck now dead in the water ( blew engine mid. August) but will still start so battery will need trickle charger to stay good.
BTW that truck has one battery replacing two with the power of three as stock was two 750 amp.

I also have several other Odyssey’s in other vehicles, my SxS has a 950 amp, my ‘83 CJ7 has a Odyssey 1500 amp, and I have a “spare Odyssey 1700 amp that I have had since about 2002 also ... that one was totally submerged in water in a battery case over a winter (case top broken ) and I pulled it out cleaned it up from scum growth put on trickle charger for two or three weeks , it’s still usable to this day that happened in about 2004/5
To say I’m sold on Odyssey’s is a huge understatement, pricey yup but IMHO you get what you pay for.

Well, I just joined the ranks for bad factory batteries. Not sure if they are covered by the three year warranty, but that ended 21 days ago.

Driver side was very bad. Pass side seemed OK - now to find a use for 1 battery.

Got the AGM from Carquest/Advance - we'll see how well they work.
