I am getting ready to put a 4" downpipe on a 95 with an auto are there any tricks to this other than bashing the pipe flat near the metal line? Also will i have any problems running a 5" pipe after the downpipe with no muffler or cat?

I just had a 4" installed on my '96 today. What metal line is in the way that requires a divot in the pipe? I want to see if they made the dent in my installation.

They said a 5" is no problem. They do a 5" if the customer calls for it but it doesn't do much besides look impressive unless the truck has some extensive engine mods. The cat can go, so can the muffler, but you will be noisy. Let me know what metal line is in the way of the pipe. Thanks.
