What are some of the more reliable 10 - 20 year old non-CTD trucks?

Opinions on rear anti-sway bars

Im getting a set of michelin pilot A/S 4 tires put on my car tomorrow. This is a brand new tire and I cant find anything on the internet about them. Anyone have experience with this ?

Political thing!
Only if you make it so!

I always recommend against Badyears because almost everyone I know that ran them had balance issues. A group I volunteered with had a Suburban that they had some "professional grade" Wranglers put on, and they were impossible to keep balanced. My buddy just bought a brand new half-ton Chebby Trail Boss that came with Badyears, and it went down the road like a paint shaker. After rebalancing multiple times at two shops, dismounting and remounting, and all manner of tests that GM required, they finally admitted the tires were square and gave him a credit towards different tires. He went with Wildpeaks, and the truck is smooth as glass now.

The Pilot line has been around for quite a few years. They used to have the Pilot Sport I believe as standard equipment on some Corvette models. I've never specifically heard of the A/S, but the Sport were decent tires.

A/S have worked well for buddy on 3 different cars (1 front-drive, one rear, one all) for about 60k miles each. Snow is never an issue.

I wonder if the don't buy Goodyear guy knows they are on his "limo"? Then again, I saw a Goodyear blimp service truck with Michelins on it...

I love the fact that Goodyear is having to deal with their self created BS. Like the saying goes, "Get woke, Go broke". Never tie yourself to a communist or marxist ideology or you'll find yourself broke..........unless you are BLM and get money from silly white people that suffer from "white guilt".

Back to the tires, I'm really torn on this. I searched for months to find American made trailer tires. Goodyear was the only company that makes trailer tires here. I purchased a set for my enclosed trailer and am very happy with the product and will probably buy again........if they fire the SJW that made this:

The pilot a/s 4 is a brand new tire. I believe it replaces the a/s 3 and/or the all season 3 plus

Sorry 'rat. Experience noted was on A/S 3, which he bought because of previous experience with A/S 2. My Michelin experience suggests the A/S 4 will perform similarly.

They better wake up on this one!!!

Add "MAGA" or "All Lives Matter" to that hat and GY will discipline you! Add "BLM" and you are good to go!

First is divisive and the ladder is inclusive. Not sure what Goodyear would do, as they have logo clothing for their employees like many other companies. They are the ones that pay their employees and have the right to set their standards.

May boil down to ******* off 33% or 67% of their customer base.

Is building a round tire that difficult?
I had some BFG KO's on my last truck. I had chronic balance issues and they were only 285's. I finally gave up and sold them on CL. I replaced them with Toyos and haven't had an issue in 18 yrs now. The Falkens have great reviews but I havent seen any for a 9K# truck yet in a 17.

I'd buy Sailun again vs a GY trailer tire. Both are 3rd world communist tire companies, may as well pick the better performer!

I have to say, these Goodyear trailer tires have been great. My 24' enclosed trailer tows like a new trailer whereas before the Chicom junk that I tried was soft and wobbly and only got worse when I loaded up 4 big sleds and gear. At least the Goodyear product is holding up better than their managements spine when it comes to "Woke culture".

That's good you found a tire that works well for you. I was actually being serious about the Sailun. They are a phenomenal tire.
