new michelin tires

Back to the tires, I'm really torn on this. I searched for months to find American made trailer tires. Goodyear was the only company that makes trailer tires here.

I have been running a lot of Hercules, they are made here.

Im getting a set of michelin pilot A/S 4 tires put on my car tomorrow. This is a brand new tire and I cant find anything on the internet about them. Anyone have experience with this ?

I had a set of the Summer Tire Only version of the Pilot on my Trailblazer SS. They would hook in a wet car wash. (Monsoon downpour) Consistent track times as well. The only downside was very short life of 15K miles. Summer Only isn't a concern for me here. Glad to see they have an All Season version now.

The OEM BadYears from GM were a krap tire just like the OEM Firestones from FCA... Actually I have had less trouble with Firestone as the GY's wouldn't stay balanced.

Yes, I have 2 older sets made in Thailand but the last 2 sets were made in USA. It probably makes a difference what the tire is, where it is made.

The tires that came oem on my car were made in vietnam. They performed will for me. I think its mostly the tires that are actually made in china that are a problem.
