I just bought a 2001. 5 2500 QC 4X4 CTD and joined the TDR and I have to say this site is great. I was lurking around here for probably the last 6 month's try to get all of the information I could on the CTD before I made the decision to buy one. I have been a Chevy man for years but when I made the decision to buy a diesel, Dodge was the only choice. I sold a 99 Chevy 2500 Ext. cab 4X4 to buy this truck and I can say after 2 weeks of driving the Dodge there is no comparision. Now if I can just keep you guy's from tempting me to the darkside. (BOMBing)

Welcome to the world of Cummins Power!

Congrats and good choice of color! In this Texas

heat, white is right. Mine is the same but a

short bed.

You won't be able to resist the urge to BoMb for

long. . (evil laugh) Ha Ha Ha! :D :D

Gauges are a must though, especially if you add

a fueling box or injectors.

I've only had mine a month, it will still be quite a while before the wife has trouble talking me into running to the store in the evening!:)

jeepit

I haven't done much towing yet, just around town, tomorrow I'm leaving for a race in Maryland. About 2k, should have a pretty good idea about it after that.

the darkside

If you listened to master yoda youll know that "once down the dark path you start forever will it dominate your destiny. " Take it from a hopeless bomber. If you start you will be turned to the darkside.

Don't come around me,, I've got BOMBitis bad,, and it's very contagious,, very very VERY contagious.

Ever ridden in a truck that's within 500 RPM of 75% peak power all the time?

It gives a new meaning to "Just press GO"

MerrickNJr

P. S. Check out the Local and Regional Events/Chapters forums for any events or gatherings,, we just had LSTDR 2 weeks ago. Was very good, lotsa prizes, and people there,, not to mention "High Profile" guys, Like Piers Harry, Joe D. and the Kondolays. (DTT)

Merrick,

YOU at least have gauges, something that I have got to get now. Christmas will be a nice stocking stuffer of 3 SPA's, and a columm mont.

Your bomb bug got a bite of me at the rally.

The best advice I can give a new member, STAY AWAY FROM ANY BOMBED TRUCK!!!

AJB
