Just had a new 9'2" Boss V plow put on my 2006 auto 4x4 quad cab dually 3500.
Lifting the 850lb plow my back end really lifts high, and they sit high to begin with. I raised my tires to maximum 80psi, and was worried in a panic stop with the plow on I would lose control. So, I bought a pallet of rock salt weighing 2,500 lbs. As per BOSS website it is located all the way back at the tailgate. My question is: Will the 2500 lb load of rock salt hurt my suspension?
The weight is there from November through March, then i will remove pallet of salt. I use truck about 1 day a week, and the plow is on only for a snow storm.
