Competition have You broke Your output shaft?

Competition Video and Pictures Sacramento Raceway January 22nd

Is anyone going to meet for breakfast at Bradshaws restaurant like we always used to???????

I'll be there, but since my truck is minus the Comp right now, I won't be racing, just watching and drooling. I'll be riding my Harley this time.

I have been looking over the website for the race and it seems like I could be making multiple runs. With the RAD I am worried about the input and output shafts. Is it possible to make just one run for a time ticket or should I wait until the Wed. night things start back up to run it then? I am just worried I would break something, while funds are there, the time is available to have the truck down :{ What do you think?? :confused:

Yes you could make one run. I would just go out there and see what it does.

I think I shall. As for the weather, its Friday night, excuse me I mean saturday morning at 12:23 and its drizzling in the little town of Lockeford :{

...

good news thanks... i was giving a guy a ride last night breaking the tires loose at 80mph on American River bridge//NO FRIGGIN' traction at all :eek:

....

Well. . good and bad day today, we ran our personal best 12. 10@112. 9 mph for 2 runs, and snapped an output shaft the last time trial run of the day. Talk about Kaboom. . wow. . hopefully we'll get the new shaft in by the end of the week for the dyno day. . hopefully Suncoast keeps their promise on warrantying billet parts eh> ;) There's gonna be some video's up on DTR soon. . maybe someone will post a link.

I also ran a personal best of 13. 34 @ 99. 5, not too bad for an old 1st gen.

heres a couple pics of my truck for now

as soon as videos and pics come on DTR and Diesel Garage I will post links.

It was a fun day, my first time drag racing and had a 15. 8 on a bad injector pump and a 0 psi fuel pump but the RASP will be here thursday and the injector pump is sitting in the shop brand new from II. I got to looking though and my reaction times were . 668 and . 66, what is the key to the quick reaction times, never raced until sunday (my birthday so I got the day off :D ) just need some tips for racing it once I get the new pumps on and hopefully a phat shaft 62 soon. Thanks guys and it was great meeting yall up there :cool:

Hey, thanks for coming out there, I didn't get to meet you but my brother Cory did. I leave the line right when the last yellow light comes on, maybe I can help you out next time your out there.
