Newbie looking for work, any ideas? please help me keep my truck

Hey guys I'm new to the site and CTD, and am thoroughly enjoying myself.

just before Thanksgiving I bought an '03 HO qc 4x4 and need to find some work for it or I have to let it go. I thought it would be much easier to find work for it, but am coming up empty in the local papers. I am N. of Pittsburgh, where do I look to find pulling jobs for it? where are you guys finding the work you're doing?

I tried a search, but wasn't sure exactly what to search for...

Anyhow, the wife says if it can't pay for itself then it has to go :{ :{ :{ (I told her it would before she let me buy it)

Do a search on hotshot and you'll find more info than you really want to read. From reading a bunch of the hotshot posts I'm of the opinion that if you don't already have a commercial hauling venture or won't be doing it full time you won't make a profit. Insurance & regisitration are the killers.

If you have the time to devote to it, you migh also look at delivering RV's from the Elkhart, Indiana area all over the U. S. - again, insurance and registration/licensing are too expensive to just "dabble" in this.
