Hello,
I have a 1998.5 dodge Cummins 5 speed 4x4 extended cab long bed and I just replaced the injection pump, put an airdog 100 lift pump on the frame, new throttle position sensor, and rebuilt injectors and put a new camshaft posture on sensor on it all within the last 24 hours. The truck starts and idles fine maybe even a little better than it did before but I have no throttle responds whatsoever. From no throttle all the way to wide open the engine rpm doesn't change at all. Please help any advice is needed st this point as this is my only vehicle!

Did you do the APPS reset procedure? If you didn't try this.

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminals on both batteries.
2. Turn the ignition key to run to drain any remaining capacitors
3. Let truck sit for 30 min
4 Turn ignition key to off
5 Reconnect battery cables
6 Turn key to run position but do not start
7 Depress accelerator pedal slowly to the floor
8 Release pedal slowly to top position
9 Turn key off
10 Start truck

Check all connections. Sounds like the ecm does not know that you are asking for throttle. Make sure that the cam sensor is hooked up, it is just below the vp and might have got knocked loose. The cam is how the ecm knows that the engine is running. Also check the map sensor if it is not sending signal to ecm the ecm will derate engine.

IT COULD. But sounds as if the ecm does not know that you are asking for throttle. Check connection at tps and at the ecm, make sure that the 50 pin connector is not loose.
