Crack in injector line #5

Intermittent starting issue

The 2013+ trucks have 2 WIF sensors so I’m guessing that’s the reason it’s not advertised for them.

I wonder if it’s compatible with the SDFK for the 5.9, as they have 2 WIF sensors and the sensors are both different than OE one.

My wild guess it that the connector is different. I remember from the SDFK Kit that the two WIFs had other then my 04.5 was.
A small thing to adapt.

Do you need to monitor the fuel pressure before a CP3 probably not but keeping you informed that you have a gel flow issue before the filter becomes plugged enough to cause running issues can’t be a bad thing. Having plugged up a filter once it would have been nice to have had a bit of warning before I lost power while trying to merge on the highway entrance ramp. I ordered the kit for$23 bucks it’s worth seeing if it will work on my 13. If not I can always resist it. Still cheaper than a fuel gauge kit.

I'd be very curious as to what pressure it trips at.

This. Curious about pressure too.

My ‘07 runs less than 5 psi right now when I’m towing, often dropping to 3. I’ve been told the pressure is sufficient for CP3 trucks, but I bet the light would be on all the time for me haha.

Still a good idea.

I found a nice surprise in my mailbox this morning!!

Super simple design and will take less time to install than change the filter... Why this part wasn't pushed as a critical item whenever a customer went in for service, or just to purchase a filter is beyond me!

The instructions are for 1998-2010 5.9 and for 2007-2012 6.7... This simple kit coulda saved a pile of VP-44's and let the early CR owners that the lift pump took a dump... I know the model years don't make sense for everyone, but just remember that not everyone on the planet was blessed with the emissions crap until 2010!!

Two part numbers are listed on the instructions...
68156564AA for 5.9
68156565AA for 6.7

This is one of those rare gems that may also be found at a pump rebuild shop...

I just got my kit as well I still have to check if it will work on my 13 but I don’t see any reason why it will not. Will post m results when I get time to do my service this month. I’m due for lube, valve adjustment and crankcase filter.

The one ending in 65 seems to be 6.7 and 5.9's with factory Jacobs exhaust brake... The one ending with 64 is for all other 5.9's

The only different items I can think of, are the pump fitting and plug!!

^^^ I am confused...

Are you guys confirming that you get BOTH part #s for that price and only need to install the correct one for your application?

Or do you need to specify which one you want when you pace the order??

Is there something you can put up regarding the 5.9 w/Jake that I can read?? Just want to make sure before I order the "65"...

Sorry about that particular post... My laptop battery died while I was still in the middle of a "preview" and didn't know what happened after that... Be patient, and I'll upload all 5 pages, if the photos will load...

Simply passing on part numbers from the instructions I have in my hand right now!

Thank you for that but for some cloudy headed reason on my part, I STILL do not understand if BOTH parts are included in the purchase. I think it is because the ebay seller lists it only as part #68156565AA .

Can anyone please confirm if this purchase contains parts and fittings for BOTH or only one of the MY applications.
