Wondering if anyone else has this problem, only have high on the heater control knob, no matter what i am on... . A/C, heat, defrost, floor, I get them all just on high blow, is this a fuse problem or in the switch its self? Also have a power seat that will only move forward, just bought the truck, the guy i got it from is my height so i have never moved it up or back... . well my GF takes it the other day. . (she's alot shorter than I am) well I go to take off and what do ya know... my knees are in the dash and its a 5 speed so operating the clutch... yea well i look like a real jerky sittin in the truck against the steering wheel, knees up past the windows... . LOL... is there any kind of manual override on this damn thing... its sittin right now till i figure something out... thanks for all the great info on here... .

The blower concern is most likely just the resistor. you will have to test the seat to know if it is a switch or motor that hes failed.

I second that

The blower resistor has went out on our 99 intrepid pos three times same exact symptoms if it keeps going out then i think there is something wrong with the blower motor

The resistor is mounted in the housing that covers the heater core/air cond. evaperator. It is a small rectangular shaped fiber plate about 1 1/2" high and 2 1/2" wide with several wires connected to it. It should be visible under or behind the glove box. The seat motor problem is most likely the switch as if the motor runs in one direction it should run the other direstion as the switch just reverses polarity to the motor. bg
