Hearing Aid?

This might be a reality show worth it's salt..

I believe the axle problem pointed out apply to the 1500, not the 2500. Most of these headline articles are filled with errors.

Yes, has to be taken with a grain of salt.

However it is dead on in regards to the Grand Caravan (Town & Country) offerings. There is something wrong with one, sometimes both any time that I look. Brakes and steering racks / pumps are just plain junk. A/C issues would be third on the list.

The ONLY thing that keeps them in my driveway is the wife.

Mike.

Wow, I thought a big portion of those cars we're decent vehicles.

I clicked on the link and it looked like it took me to a vehicle pricing and locating link, dumped it.

I'm keeping my '05 as long as i can.

Let it load, when the page is complete there will be a picture of a BMW 3 Series with a yuppie in the driver's seat......

Oh I found the Ram page OK, it was when I went for what I thought be the details about their list of problems that what looked like a purchase locator showed up.

What's with the goofy looking trailer behind the F150? it looks like a poorly shaped/photoshopped Airstream!

I was surprised to see the camry, accord, gm truck and caravan on the list. I have known folks with those cars who swear by them. Not surprised to see the bmw or the f250. I think they should have expanded the f250 to also include the 6.4 engine.

Articles written like this seem like the do nothing more than fill space on a page. They never really go into depth on the issues and there are certainly other vehicles out there with faults. If it were a truthful article many of use would not want to purchase a used car.

They sure went after the Furd F250 Super duty with the Navstar 6.0. I agree with crispyboy, they should have included the 6.4 Stupid Duty.

It's amusing that nearly all of the top selling vehicles in America made the list :-laf
I have a friend who bought an 08 Camry (New) for his wife to commute in. It now has over 340k miles on it and has never required anything other than normal maintenance.
I would love to know how they came to their conclusions in this report.

For that matter, they should be including the new 6.7 Powerstroke and it's valve eating habits as well as turbo and high pressure pump failures. Ford's eating a big turd sandwich..............................and they earned it!

All there information was supplied by CONSUMER REPORTS magazine. You know this is good for there sales on the news stand. They showed the 1500, maybe the only picture they had of a Ram.
