I have had my truck for a year with no problems. Now all of a sudden water pours from the overhead computer display. I checked the clearance lights and snug them up. What's next?

most have said that the clearance lights would be the most likely culpret.

If it is still leaking after snugging, I would investigate on top of the interior liner, there may be a leak from a door seal or the rear taillight and trickleing downhill to the computer then leaking...

Good luck.

Mine had a drip from the over head comp after I washed it in the truck bay at the local car wash. Turned out it was a cracked rubber washer on one of the cab lights replaced it and snugged the rest up--no more drip ;)

center light boot

Diesel Dog, I had mine out this weekend, the overhead computer display. I installed a very unique diesel immobilizer that cuts out the fuel pump along with the power to the key. For about $60. 00. What makes it unique is, if someone had your keys the truck would not start. I put the LED in the smoke overhead computer display; in the center is a recess. But while it was out I noticed that the rubber boot was off the center light this could cause it to leak. OverFueled

On my 3500 the plastic nut that the screw threads into stripped when I "snugged" the clearance lights. The light didn't leak till I "fixed it". LOL

I had my lites snugged up after losing the communication when the computer shorted out. I lost all electronic readouts then limped truck to dealership. They fixed under warranty.
