2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Overhead therm. temp. sender location?

Can anyone tell me where the overhead digital therm. temperature sending unit is located? someone told me it was under the pass. side battery mount. Is this correct?

Mine is on the hood release arm,center top of grille area... the hareness t's off where the under hood light is,just follow it.

Well there is a battery temp sensor under the battery, but that is not the overhead ambient indicator. That sensor is located behind the grille attached to the hood near the latch.

Right behind the grille.



The sensor has a slow response time so it would not make a good sensor to put in the intake, but you could move it to the a/c vents or somewhere just to mix things up.
