I have a 2004.5 Dodge Ram 2500. Has anyone ever had this code p0477 and what did you do to fix it. Thanks

I’m not sure I’m gonna pull off the k and n intake and see if something down there. I’m new to the diesel gang

Ahm, no, no need to work anything on the intake.
The Exhaust Brake is after the Turbo in the downpipe.
Check Google for some pictures how that would look like to find it, also you should have a switch for 8t inside the cab.
P0477 is an exhaust brake code.

By the way, K&N we don't want to see in an engine bay of a Cummins equipped vehicle as these filters are to coarse and dust out the engine - maximum possible damage occurs.

What else has been modified on that Truck?

Oh, and congrats to the new Truck, I still love my 04.5 like on the very first day.
Great vehicle, just needed some help along the way to overcome the shortcomings that DC built into it from factory.

It was on there when I bought it. I’m looking for a new setup don’t know which one to get. I have afe intake and upgraded fuel rail pressure sensor and smarty tuner

Nothing wrong with the stock airbox at all, if you need more air do the Home Depot mod.

Mine didn’t have a stock air box I was gone when I bought it I’ll have to look up the Home Depot mod
