am i the first to notice this, or is one of those things that everyone forgot to mention when i was asking about exhaust brakes?

i think it should be in a sticky - right on top

i understand that tubing is measured on the o. d. but come on... 16 gauge is only . 065 wall so the id is really close to 4"

the brake is not close to 4" and when you subtract out the area that the shaft, plate, and "the little rod with a ball on the end of it" this thing is gonna be restrictive

does anyone know if pac has a "mounting group" (kit w/ flanges and v-band clamps) that will let you use the 5" brake on a 4" system???

i am not going to let all the time i spent building a free flowing ex system be for naught - another part is going back

Don,
My 4" remote pac (although not prxb. . I wish) is definitely bigger than that. I think they make a 3. 5" and that looks to be what you got maybe? I got new flanges and v-bands from pack for my 4". Don't know about the 4"-5" kit though. Call pacbrake, they have great customer service and are really helpful though.

well the paper work says 4" and the flanges slip over 4" tubing then neck down and butt up to this brake

i'll call them tomorrow and see what the deal is

thanks, don
