It's hard to belive that tractor is a ton lighter than the load of wood I had. It looks BIG. (certainly wider and taller)

All metal trailer, loaded to 18k lbs once total trailer weight. Load balanced so no axles on truck or trailer were over weight. Wont figure that out again.

Here is my Desert fox 28' toyhauler. It is like a regular trailer but the dinette and couch fold up and my Quad rools right in. All set up, I am at 19,500# total.

8300 Miles!!!

Here we are after 4000 miles of our 8300 mile trip through 29 states this summer. I got the trailer as level as possible. What do you think?

This is what I had to do to my hensley Arrow to get the trailer level. Had to do a 4" raise from the receiver.

The hensley is a very nice unit. I am not sorry I bought it.

Our New Fiver

This shot of our new fiver taken at Pokagon State Park in Indiana. Took delivery of her on September 5. Equipped with tandem axles and dual wheels she tows real nice and we still get 11. 5 mpg towing this 16,000 machine. Couldn't ask for a better tow combination.

Casey, nice lookin rig, 16in wheels? Is it an optical illusion or is she just a smidge high in the front? I'm 2WD, have trouble getting hitch adjusted low enough to get different loads level. Even with air bag helpers near MT. Like that load of goosenecks I posted above. Load near dribbled me to death the whole way.

Yup, she is just a bit high in front. If I take the pin box down one hole (2 inches) she is a bit low. I figured I would take it a bit high and a get a bit more clearance over the box. I can only adjust it in 2 inch increments and the truck itself is level with it loaded and hooked up. By the way I guess it comes to 16 wheels if you count the two spares.
