I've searched and read a lot about pump timing. It seems straight forward enough.
The question I have is where did you purchase your tools from? I've purchased stuff from Miller before - and have been satisfied with price and quality of tool. But that was at least 7 years ago.
Is the puller used on the pump gear just a standard puller or is there anything special about it?
When tightening the pump gear nut - do you have to hold the gear at all or do you just let the gear teeth and a barring tool hold it still?
According to the TSB - what is the reason for the bearing and thrust washer that goes between the nut and pump gear??
Thanks in advance for your help/advice!!
