Well that enabled that set-up wizard(X2) but now the new found hardware wizard will not start! My computer chimes at me everytime i plug it but the wizard will not start. :confused:

I think i got it! THANK YOU, DCreed I don't think i ever would have thought of clicking the logo! I installed a ADR 1001 then installed a ADR1002 just to make sure i had the update procedure correct and i do believe it's a success! What is the difference between the the aggressive and non aggressive programs. Is it low end fueling or what?

You're welcome! I was told its is lowish/ mid range and timing curves are more aggressive. Beware that the updated tunes may/may not have turbo timer enabled yet ,though there is a fix in the works for early next week.
also that the turbo timer disable on 98. 5-2000 is the fuel pedal and 01-02 is both pedals.

I seen there was only 2 progams that had 300 deg TT all the rest were 3 min. I also understand that this thing is NEW and from what i'm reading on DTR,QUAD is definitly working on it.

I said the SAME thing! Temperature is much more important than time to cool down. I sent a email to Quad asking for a program like 2024 or so but with a temp timer and with all the RnD going on with it right now that stuff is kinda on the back burner. for now.

I am wanting to hear from the guys that have the Adrenaline. What is the millage tunes like? Does it perform like the Smarty's fuel saver setting.

I just took er for a test drive and i'm surprised the clutch holds in 4 + 5th. I'm impressed:D I'd say it's stronger and smoother than the comp. I'm hoping they come up with a program that has the 300deg TT because the 3min thing is not going to work for me:{

I said "heck with it!" and tried 2024 level 09. W-O-W ! spool is quick and strong, smoke is moderate (even light at this power level), and boost/EGT is fully controlable with my foot! No chatter like the TST, no weird slam/stall/slam like smarty/tst stack and WAY more power than comp. Cruise is STILL useable! with 3:54 gears and 275/75/16 tires dry pavement no brake needed posi burn-outs are easy! FUN, FUN, FUN, Thanks QUAD!!

Cummins724, that's a nice installation, gotta love it.
DCreed, you're just bound and determined to get us to dig out our debit cards aren't ya! ;)
This thread just isn't fair. . I'm goin' over to read about oil filters or somethin'. . :{

Thanks Dude, I drove it today & the location is excellent. Nice visibility & easy access to changing levels. I was kinda proud of the simplicity of it, the unit fits very snug & can be easily removed in minutes. DCREED is correct, this box is the shibby. More to come & I promise that when quad releases Phase 3 to the public, you will use that credit card. Remember, it is only money... you aren't gonna take it with you. :-laf

Ok got the Air Dog, RV275's in and valve lash adjusted next is the Quad-adrenaline. Is there any upgraded software I should wait for before ordering? My goal is to increase towing performance(21,000 total weight 5er and truck) and keep EGT's in check. Oh by the way I currently have EGT, Boost and Fuel pressure from Autometer in the A-pillar what have you guys down with those? Sold the gauges and went back to stock a-pillar cover?

I was happy with the included software (for a while) and it would probably be fine for daily drivers and towing (I towed 16k total), but the aggressive tune is just soooo strong. I still have my guages and the Quad has 5 guage display options at a time (add oil/trans temp to what you have now). You may need a clutch upgrade though, the power from this thing is addictive!

The adrenaline being USB updateable, you don't need to wait to purchase. You can just download and try the new tunes as you feel the need.

Yeah, but if you order now, I don't think you could get the Pulse. I'd wait a few weeks & get it all in one shot.

From what I recall, Quad said he would be offering a rebate equivalent to the combo purchase for all those who bought the Adrenaline before the Pulse shipped. It was on the Cummins Forum thread somewhere. I already have the Pulse though...
