Since the beta testers thread was deleted, I thought I'd comment on the new quadilla xzillaraider modules that are coming out. We've recently been allowed to share a little more information as the testing is coming to a close.
My experiences have been really good with it so far. The driveability is the same as stock - totally seamless increase in power - not peaky. Everything seems normal aside from having a LOT more power. There are two modules, standard and race. Both have 4 way adjustability in cab. Standard is 0-30-60-100hp, and race is 0-60-100-140hp. I tested the standard module because I have a stock trans and turbo. I could run the 100hp setting and from 0-100mph empty I'd peak at 1300rpm and settle a bit lower than that. On the 60hp setting the most I could hit was 1100 and it would drop after that. I'm pretty pleased with these egt's because typically you aren't WOT that long - so the 100hp setting is totally safe/driveable for normal conditions (empty). Safe for the trans is another story :-laf I should also comment the box is set up for a pretty clean combustion. Even on the 100hp settings I couldn't get any smoke. While this may dissapoint the rednecks, it certainly helps diesels' image overall. The more we smoke out voting ricers, grandmas, and others, the more it negatively affects the diesel industry.
Anyway I just wanted to post some info, because I know several folks were waiting for it. The production models should be out in a week or two I believe.
