Recently changed the front and rear differential gear fluid on my truck. I believe I have the dana 60 in the front and 70 in the rear. I have a 2500 4x4 8800 GVW truck. 3. 54 gears. Anyway factory service manual states 3. 66 liters for the rear. It took 3 and was up to the required level (3/4" below fill hole-per factory owner manual). My question is why can't I get the other half liter in there? Do I need to wait and recheck to add more? When I changed the front I was able to get closer to the required amount but was still a little short according to what i measured out. Thanks!
