all this week when I have started the truck the radio is off half the time, no light, nothing (all other displays are on). Turn the truck off and on again and it comes on then next time it's off again. Any ideas??

Did you do the usual stuff? Check fuses, pull radio and check connections and plugs in the back, etc. If your air bag light starts to go off randomly and the high beam flash by themselves, let me know, I can help with that. Just a dead radio:confused:

Thanks Tinman, well it wouldn't be a blown fuse because it will come on... . sometimes. I am going under the dash after I pull my CP3 and turn the shaft to dry and get it to stop ticking. Anoying as all get out, both things together are real fun. Thanks for the ideas.

Any other ideas here, fuse is fine, so is the fuse that is pulled for delivery to the dealer. Radio works great when it works. I do not want a different radio because this one has factory sirius and it sounds like a hassle to get an aftermarket set up with my acct not to mention the ugly remote display I would have to mount some where. Latest discovery is that the radio seems to come on every time the volt meter shows 13V or so. If I turn the engine over imediately when the meter shows 12v the radio never comes back on. PS Turning the shaft on the CP3 stopped the tick!

I don't know, your chasing electrons. If you can get a hold to another radio with a chrysler plug, you can run that a while and that would isolate the radio of wiring as the problem.

Don't know if this is any connection, but my stock radio(RBK) with sirius would always reset itself at start up. Never didn't come on though, like yours, just would go to default sirius station. Then I got new batteries and doesn't do it anymore.
