During my wrestle with my injection pump, I decided to go and visit with the previouse owner on a few things... such as if the injection pump was rebuilt etc.
But the other big thing I was interested in is the transmission. He said it was rebuilt at 115k, and when it was rebuilt, the guy put some kind of rubber bushing in it, and that is why my transmission is so quiet... I'm seriouse, this thing is silent.
So does anyone know anything about it? I've never heard of it before.
He told me the only two things he ever had to do on the truck for the whole 185k he owned it was the transmission and the rear brakes.
I wonder how come it's turned into a lemon since I've owned it?
